School board meetings are a key part of the education system, where important decisions about budgets, policies, and school programs are made. Parents and guardians can attend these meetings to stay informed, understand how funding is allocated, and see how decisions are made.
Board meetings are held 1-2 times a month in the McCauley Chambers, 2nd Floor, One Kingsway.
Past and upcoming meeting times and dates can be found on the School Board website, along with past minutes, agendas, and recordings.
One of the simplest yet most effective ways to spread awareness about important school issues is through word of mouth. Talking to friends, family, and other parents helps build a network of concerned individuals who can take action.
Additional ways to raise awareness is with social media. Sharing posts, articles, and personal stories on platforms like Facebook, Twitter, or Instagram amplifies the message and engages a wider community.
